Charles Milles Manson born November 12, 1934 in the quiet state of Ohio is famously known for being a cult leader. He, like most criminals, didn't have the best childhood. His mother, Kathleen Maddox, gave birth to him at the young age of 16. She never cared for him, she was an alcoholic. Manson also lacked a father figure. All these events probably led to his first small crimes of stealing from convince stores and stealing cars.

Although Charles is known for being a "murderer", he never killed anyone. He accumulated followers to do the killing for him. He believed that there was going to be a war between races and he was going to be the one to start it. These events, the murders, made him and his followers very famous back in 1971 when he and the others were finally found guilty.

His acts caused him and other people to be kept in custody for the rest of their lives. By reviewing the events, it is made evident that following the actions of other people may lead you to a horrible destination and will have bad consequences. People need to become self aware of what they're doing and learn how to think for themselves as opposed to simply following orders.
